VOICES OF VICTIMS
Every year we hold an event to commemorate victims of crime and to remind those in the community that these victims still have a voice. This year's theme is "5 years of Healing Collaborations: Resilience in the Aftermath of the Marysville-Pilchuck Tragedy".
This year we will acknowledge the tragedy of the Marysville Pilchuck High School shooting and the local collaborations that facilitated healing in its aftermath. Our keynote speaker for VoV 2020 is Rochelle Lubbers from the Tulalip Tribe.
Rochelle is an accomplished community leader within the Tulalip Tribe and was integral in the collaborative efforts that followed the shooting at Marysville Pilchuck High School. Rochelle has an inspiring and powerful message to share with us, and this promises to be a stellar event.
