Victim Support Services invites you to join us for The Lights of Remembrance, an annual gathering to honor missing persons and those lost to homicide. Families, friends, and community members are invited to come together for reflection, remembrance, and connection during the holiday season.
The holidays can be a particularly difficult time for those grieving, and this event offers a safe space to honor loved ones, find comfort, and build strength in community. Through shared memories and rituals, we shine a light of hope and resilience in the face of loss.
Throughout the evening, you are welcome to participate in a family-friendly craft to honor and remember loved ones, and we encourage you to bring a few photos of your loved one to be included. In addition, we will offer a candle lighting ceremony with opportunities to share and reflect. Dinner and refreshments will be provided!
We will display a slideshow of loved ones throughout the evening, so If you’d like your loved one’s photo included in the memorial slideshow, please send an email to Leslie McPherson at leslie@victimsupportservices.org with no more than 5 photos.
