Welcome our new Victim Services Coordinator, Erik!
Victim Support Services is pleased to introduce Erik Saulness, our new Victim Services Coordinator for Skagit and Whatcom counties.
Erik is a lifelong resident (with the exception of some time spent in the Navy) of Washington State and comes to VSS from a background in social work and child welfare with DSHS. Prior to his work with DSHS, Erik worked as an air traffic controller in the Navy, and as a therapeutic case aide with at-risk-youth while attending college. He attended Skagit Valley College and Western Washington University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services as well as a Master of Arts degree in English.
Erik is an avid reader and writer and lives in Skagit county with his wife and two children (three, if you count the dog).
We are excited Erik joined the VSS team. Welcome, Erik!
