Welcome our New Victim Advocate Intern, Jessica Villines!

Victim Support Services is thrilled to welcome our newest Victim Advocate Intern, Jessica. She is currently a student at Edmonds Community College working toward completing her bachelor’s degree in child, Youth, and Family Studies. Outside of school, Jessica works as a nanny and volunteers at her children’s school. As a mother of three young children, her days are quite full, yet she still makes time for creativity and personal interests.

Jessica loves art and enjoys activities such as cross-stitching, crocheting, drawing, and painting. She also enjoys spending time outdoors whenever possible—camping, kayaking, traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with friends and family are some of her favorite activities. An animal lover, Jessica’s family includes a pet rabbit, a snake, and a cat.

Jessica has a strong sense of empathy and compassion, which often leads her to help others. Combined with her interest in true crime, this has helped her better understand the challenges victims face and the importance of systemic support. These experiences have inspired her interest in becoming a victim advocate, and she looks forward to making a positive and lasting impact on people’s lives.
