Welcome Matthew back to Victim Support Services as a Crisis and Referral Volunteer Advocate!

Matthew previously served as a hotline advocate with VSS and is excited to return to supporting victims in our community. He is a Navy veteran and currently works as a law enforcement officer in Texas, serving in the DWI Unit. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, spending time with his two kids, and catching up on his favorite shows.

When asked why he chose to volunteer with VSS again, Matthew shared:

“As a law enforcement officer, I have noted that victims of crime don’t usually get the follow-up assistance they need, so I decided to join VSS again as a volunteer to help victims in more ways than I already am aiming to do through my job.”
