Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday have passed, give back today on #GivingTuesday! Victim Support Services has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
#GivingTuesday inspires people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they celebrate and help create a better world. This year, consider donating to Victim Support Services. Besides our funding through grants, we rely on individual donations from people like YOU. With your help, we are able to continue advocating for victims of crime in our community. We are one of the first advocacy agencies in the nation, and the very first in Washington State going on 41 years strong of helping victims and their families and friends in five counties including Snohomish, King, Island, Whatcom and Skagit.
Please consider making a donation today! Anything helps. Thank you for considering Victim Support Services as your choice of charity for #GivingTuesday!
