National Night Out Against Crime: Building Safer, Stronger Communities Together
National Night Out Against Crime is an annual community event that brings neighbors, law enforcement, and local organizations together with a shared goal: to strengthen community connections and promote public safety. More than just an evening of gathering, it is an opportunity to build trust, raise awareness about crime prevention, and reinforce the importance of working together to create safer neighborhoods for everyone.
Across the country, communities come together on National Night Out to host local events, connect with one another, and engage in meaningful conversations about safety, resilience, and support. These gatherings help foster stronger relationships between residents and those who serve and support them, while also highlighting the power of community partnership in preventing crime and supporting those impacted by it.
Victim Support Services (VSS) is proud to participate in this year’s National Night Out and stand alongside our community in support of survivors of crime. VSS provides free, confidential support services to individuals impacted by crime, including crisis intervention, advocacy, emotional support, and connection to vital resources. Our mission is rooted in ensuring that no one has to navigate the aftermath of crime alone.
We invite community members to stop by and visit us at our local National Night Out event:
