Rob Sandgren
Rob Sandgren
March 24th, 2007
Rob Sandgren, age 18, was a young man who loved music and made friends easily. One week before he was murdered, he had moved down from Bellingham to Everett, Washington and rented a house. On March 18th, 2005, Rob had argued with a girl he had been in a relationship with. The girl left Rob’s house and called two friends who brought a sawed off shotgun to Rob’s house to “teach him a lesson”. There, the men shot and killed Rob. One had just been released from jail for imprisoning his own girlfriend. He was found guilty and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Rob’s parents and younger brother struggled to make sense of the murder. Families and Friends offered support to them and helped them through the court process.
