Welcome to the team, Amelia!
Victim Support Services is thrilled to welcome Amelia Bell, our new Community Support Coordinator, to the team!
In her role, Amelia will be coordinating and facilitating workshops, support groups, and peer-to-peer activities that connect and uplift survivors through our Community Support Program.
Amelia graduated in June 2025 from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Minor in Leadership Studies. During her time in Bellingham, she completed an internship with Law Advocates, where she assisted clients through intake coordination, case management, and support at legal clinics. She also volunteered with Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services of Bellingham and at St. Martin de Porres Shelter in Seattle, experiences that deepened her passion for community care and advocacy.
We’re so excited that Amelia chose to begin her career at VSS and bring her compassion and dedication to supporting victims and survivors in our community.
Outside of work, Amelia enjoys baking (especially cakes!), spending time outdoors, reading, knitting, and practicing yoga.
When asked what she’s most looking forward to at VSS, Amelia shared:
“I am excited to join VSS because of the community involvement. I just recently moved to Snohomish County, so I’m excited to meet new people in this community—especially through such impactful work!”
Welcome, Amelia — we’re so happy to have you on the VSS team!
