It’s Not Goodbye, It’s See You Later

Janet Quiroga, Information and Referral Specialist

All of us at Victim Support Services (VSS) would like to take the time to express our sincere appreciation for one of our very own, Janet Quiroga. After six plus years of working for VSS, our Information and Referral Specialist, Janet, has decided to step back from her role and focus on her most important job; being a mother to her two beautiful kids.

Janet started with VSS back in 2017 when we were awarded a grant to manage the first and only 24×7 statewide hotline for general crime victims in Washington state. Janet was our “go-to” gal to respond to crisis calls during business hours, and helped manage the volunteers that covered the phones for us after hours and on holidays. In addition to working on the statewide hotline, Janet also helped manage our social media accounts, created our mass emails and newsletters that our amazing stakeholders and constituents receive, and much more.

Although we are sad to see Janet go, we honor her for all of her hard work and dedication to victims of crime throughout her years at VSS. She is forever part of our family.

Janet, thank you for your services and sharing your big heart with others. We are forever grateful to you and know that you impacted so many lives, and will continue to. Thank you!
