February Employees of the Month
Janet Quiroga
Congratulations to Hotline Coordinator, Janet Quiroga, for being voted in by her peers as Employee of the Month for February! It is no surprise that Janet has been voted in many times, as it is WELL deserving! We are grateful that Janet plays such a vital role in helping manage the Washington State Crime Victim Service Center Hotline, where individuals hurt or harmed by crime can call or text 24/7. Her supervisor, Leslie McPherson, Director of Hotline and Volunteer Services said, “Janet has been such a positive presence in the office and is a fabulous mentor to other hotline advocates. She has shown tremendous growth in the year and a half she has been at VSS, and we are truly grateful she is part of the VSS family.”

We are so happy to have Jen working in Region 12! She excels as a victim advocate often balancing the needs of clients with outreach with incredible grace. Jen is frequently thinking of news ways to reach out to communities and victims of crime. Please congratulate Jen on Employee of the Month – she certainly deserves it.
Rachel Martinez
Rachel is a phenomenal victim advocate and we feel so lucky to have her! She provides amazing advocacy services to victims of crime in King County and always has a great attitude. She also goes above and beyond when doing outreach around King County oftentimes arranging her schedule to go to weekend events and evening events. She is absolutely deserving of Employee of the Month.
