Coat Drive Update

For those who missed the story last month, Tonja Jones collects coats for local homeless shelters every year to be delivered on December 10th, her nephew Derrick’s birthday, who was murdered in 2009.  Tonja was able to deliver 203 cozy warm coats to the local Men’s & Women’s Missions.  There were . 91 women’s coats, 69 men’s coats and 43 children’s coats.  Everyone at Families & Friends was honored to be a part of remembering Derrick this year.  Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who donated coats to the Derrick Everson Memorial Coat Drive.
