Ch-ch-changes!

There have been many changes within Victim Support Services recently. With our new therapy office in Marysville, Nancy Hawley, who has been Director of Victim Services for seven years, has transitioned into her new position as Director of Mental Health Services and works out of our Marysville office. With Nancy’s new position, an opportunity arose for a new Director of Victim Services. We are excited to announce that Colleen Ingalls, former King County Victim Service Coordinator, is now Interim Director of Victim Services. Colleen has been with VSS for eight years and has been an advocate for Whatcom, Skagit and most recently, King County. With her new position, there was an opening for an Interim King County Victim Service Coordinator. We are pleased to announce that Brigitta Ellwein will join our agency onOctober 5. Brigitta comes to VSS with a wealth of experience working with Domestic Violence Victims at Domestic Abuse Women’s Network (DAWN) in South King County, as well as working with the City of Tacoma on their Domestic Violence initiatives and conference. In addition, Brigitta interned with JAG at JBLM. She brings along with her lot of passion for victim services and an excitement for this new opportunity. Welcome Brigitta and congratulations to Nancy and Colleen on their new positions!
