Welcome to Steve Nantz

Victim Support Services is welcoming Steve Nantz to our team.  Steve is joining us to fill the newly created position of Development Director.  Steve will be helping Victim Support Services reach the next level in fund development, and we are thrilled to have him here with us!

Steve had the good fortune to be able to live in many different places when he was growing up, including Ethiopia, England, and Lebanon, along with both the east coast (Charleston, South Carolina) and west coast (Long Beach California, Seaside Oregon) of the United States.  He went to high school in Seaside, Oregon, and to college at both Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.  Steve has worked in development for several years, most notably for the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps. He has also worked as a journalist, freelance fundraiser and writer, psychology team administrator, and special education teacher. He says his  favorite job, however, was the three years he spent as a ‘stay-at-home-dad’ for his kids.

Steve enjoys reading, writing, cooking, coaching youth sports, watching football from his recliner, and anything on or in the water, from boating to scuba diving.

Welcome Steve!
